Hi peeps! Finally blogging because I need to rant! Very disturbed by certain unexpected weird remark...

For those who don't know anything, this is a break down of events. (event to be more accurate)

A: Hi is ur (item) frm (B)?

Me: Yep. Got it from (B). Its in the same condition as when I got it. (:

A: Y the price hike? Did mods to it?

Me: Nope. For lowballers. Experienced too many low ballers before.

Me: How much were you offered?

A: Offered wad?

Me: The (item)

A: By whu? Nobody offered me anything. I m (B)'s fren n he asked me to ask u abt ur nt very honest intentions

Me: Ah. A safety net is considered not very honest I see. Dishonesty would mean I got it from the states at $300 and I'm giving a big discount. Cheers. (:

A: (...) U noe ur own intentions i shldnt judge. (...)

Won't dishonesty mean I reply him: "What price hike? You must have saw someone who is desperate. I got my case at $300 straight from US best quality and I'm giving you a great offer."

Isn't that the case? But I replied yes I got from (B) and gave him the reason I put the price. Mind you, I didn't know (A) was (B)'s friend or anything until the end when he said he was. I told him the whole thing even though it meant either selling at a lower price or no sale. I don't get what dishonesty is it in this act?

What went wrong? A misinterpretation? A dishonest act? Unhappy the latter gets a higher profit? Jealous? Sore loser?

I have no idea, but I'm disturbed about how people can make such ridiculous comments after I see the whole picture.

Talked to this cab uncle this afternoon while on the way to school. Found out that his son left to aus for studies, came back to work for a few years before moving to aus to stay and so on... He then moved on to jobs and such and he was saying in the past he was working as a manager and interviewed candidates for his company and 70% of those who go for job interviews are not what they portray themselves to be. He said 70% of this world is about "public relations" (as quoted by the uncle) to be more direct it is plainly lying. He then said, even from young all of us were sales people! We sell our ideas, to go eat mac, to get that toy, we are selling the product to our parents for us to get the stuff! haha

But it really struck me, simple words can be used to make such grave mistakes. lying and such, it may always seem so little but it goes a long way... one to cover this up and another to cover what you said to cover up and it'll go on in a vicious cycle... scary ain't it.

So those people who lie blatantly, I urge you to stop and be truthful. It'll help big time. Try it! (you won't die from it)

Was listening to my daily dosage of smooth jazz on sky.fm and thought of playing it from my bass amp instead and it turned out to be a uber relaxing and soothing experience! COOL! haha (:

Received a call from a lecturer from my school when I was at lunch with my boss at Cafe Fontainebleau located at Allson Hotel(S).

I was offered to take up an extra mod even though it will clash with my current timetable so I need not graduate a year later! PRAISE THE LORD!!!! WHOOOOTS!!!!!!! (:

I thought I wasn't able to apply for that very one more module due to the clash of timetable. But this afternoon (after several email correspondences with this lecturer couple weeks back), he decided to help slot me into a class despite the clash of time table, although I never did ask this of him, all I asked was how do I go about applying for my modules and lo and behold, he saw me through the whole process of forwarding my modules and didn't just stop there but went on to help and offer me a chance to be on track once more, or rather He saw me through all these times. God is great, just through an email I am offered a way to save time, just through a conversation, I'm given a choice to embark into a company I'm currently attached to for now and even after my studies, just a decision to follow after His heart and the gates of heaven is open over my life. THANK YOU LORD! Feel the move of God and give praises to Him! Train reached bedok he woke up, he was apologetic but I said it's ok and stood up to offer him my seat(the corner seat) but he was so insistant not to take the seat though I could tell he really wanted to, I chat with him till tanah merah, found out he's heading towards pasir ris and when I got off the train he quickly slide himself to my seat and lean against the glass fell asleep. haha (:

Tips:
1)Do not keep telling ________(the other party) you're lousy. Lest it really get to him/her.

2)Do not ignore ________(the other party). Lest your mate gets used to it and stop waiting.

Waited so very long for a cab to the mrt and when I finally managed to flag for a cab, I think this lady waiting for the cab behind me gave up on waiting alr and walk towards the bus stop. Asked if she's heading towards the mrt and she was, offered to share cab and she agreed. (:
We chat a little on the cab found out she's an auditor and she insisted on paying for the cab fare! What a blessing! (:
The only thing was to ask for her name but I forgotten! But allwell, it's a good start to this morning. Met baby at the mrt then went to work. Feeling all weird, faint, nauseous the whole morning! But allwell... managed to get through this day fine. Praise the Lord! (:

Was talking to Uncle David over lunch today. Went to Raffles Place mrt to catch the lunch crowd and give out tissue packs for my company I was attached to. haha.
Anw gave finish all 2000 packs of tissues within an hour and went on to a the market street hawker centre to eat. Saw this old man sitting there with an empty table went over to ask if it's free and sat there. We started talking (didn't think that i'll do today's 15 revolution like that just to think about it. haha. anw....) and he was saying he went to this roman-catholic church(unnamed for certain reasons) for meals each sun due to his lack of financial support and he was at raffles place to look for a job! Guess he's in his mid 50s. Imagine that! Looking for a job in his mid 50s! He is single and lives with his sis and her children. Not wanting to be a leech he sought for a job day after day ending up at market street's hawker center everyday for lunch.
*everybody say WOW*
Well that's the intro we made. Then he made a statement on being patient, understanding, kind, generous, accommodating, humble and honoring. Thought he wanted to beg for a lunch and I thought for a brief moment now I know why this table was empty even though the crowd was so dense and people were waiting for other people to eat finish. But anyway, I brushed away that thought the moment it arose(I need to start thinking better of people!) and he said it's very rare and that anyone listens to him and I can tell he wants someone to listen to him, even though the person may be rushing/eating/etc. he didn't mind, but not ignoring him that is.
After that some other things happened and I'll skip that part.....
ok....
After that, he was saying when he die he'll go to heaven and first thing he'll see is buddha then Jesus then guan ying then Mary. Then I posed this question: "So heaven is a multi-religious place?" After which he stopped for a quick second and said well the greatest god is the God who created the universe and we are nothing but mere ants compared to all His creation. Soon after I went to buy my lunch and continue listening to him as I was eating. Well... can't stay long...soon after I've gotta go off and follow the few of my colleagues back to office.
I noticed he thought about what I said and I pray that he'll come to a greater understanding of God and that he'll be able to come into the courts of heaven and we can continue our conversation there! AMEN! (:
